About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate to join our team. This role serves as the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and support. The position requires effective communication skills, cash handling expertise, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction, ensuring a positive experience for all clients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Utilize retail math skills to assist customers with stock availability and product pricing.
  • Communicate effectively with customers over the phone and in person, ensuring clarity and professionalism.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing the cash register.
  • Supervise sales associates during shifts, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer experience and drive sales.
  • Maintain an organized stock area, ensuring products are readily available for customers.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and improve overall customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on phone etiquette.
  • Familiarity with cash handling procedures and retail operations.
  • Ability to supervise others effectively while maintaining a positive work environment.
