About the position

The CSA Telematics Uptime Specialist is responsible for ensuring optimal performance and data accuracy across telematics systems for customer and dealer fleets. This role involves managing Customer Support Agreements (CSAs) and telematics programs, providing training and support, and collaborating with various teams to enhance telematics offerings and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Customer Support Agreements (CSAs).
  • Coordinate with branches to provide structure, training, and pricing as needed.
  • Ensure CSAs are accurately recorded in CR2/ProCare.
  • Understand and communicate manufacturer telematics programs to Product Support and Sales teams.
  • Research which products outside of Volvo can be integrated into ProCare.
  • Assist in creating a billable telematics platform and ensure agreements are signed and recorded.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and TEC to introduce programs to increase telematics participation.
  • Ensure telematics access for necessary personnel and assist in user account creation.
  • Prepare machine and telematics data for ProCare and Fusion.
  • Manage API feeds in/out of ROMCO, customers, and manufacturers.
  • Standardize telematics data capture for fleet management.
  • Manage end user information in manufacturer systems (Volvo Connect).
  • Monitor and ensure correct application of customer and dealer equipment structure in telematics interfaces.
  • Enroll, manage, and administer telematics for all manufacturers and SMT ProCare system.
  • Assist in diagnostics of non-functioning hardware or erroneous telematics data.
  • Collaborate with branches to resolve hardware and software issues for non-reporting units.
  • Provide and facilitate API/AEMP data with SMT TEC when needed.
  • Monitor units for PM services and validate PM needs with local branches.
  • Ensure all agreements are compliant with CSA terms.
  • Manage activation and organization of units in telematics systems.
  • Enable reporting and maintenance notifications and manage notification routing.
  • Manage and track telematics billing.
  • Update and maintain assets in CR2 for machine enrollment or removal from ProCare.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least three (3) years of experience with Telematics & DMS systems.
  • Experience with telematics systems and data management.
  • Experience with Dealer Management Systems (DMS).
  • Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced computer and software skills, including Microsoft Office products.

Nice-to-haves

  • Associate's degree preferred.
  • Experience in the construction or mining equipment industry.
