About the position

As a Lead Software Architect at SPX Technologies, you will be responsible for guiding the architecture design of both established ASP.Net software applications and complementary Cloud SAAS applications. This role requires expertise in secure cloud technology design and development, focusing on maximizing the platform's lifecycle and ROI for both private and public sector customers. You will collaborate with engineering teams to align technical vision with business objectives, ensuring successful product development.

Responsibilities

• Setting architectural direction for the software services team.
• Collaborating with Engineering resources to align technical vision with business objectives.
• Exhibiting expertise in AWS Cloud architecture focused on Microservices.
• Providing knowledge of the product development lifecycle and process tools.
• Sharing best practices for software development and methodologies.
• Participating in process improvement initiatives to enhance software sales effectiveness.
• Engaging in group projects related to departmental and organizational goals.

Requirements

• At least 15 years' experience in Systems/Software Engineering leading enterprise class applications.
• Five (5)+ years' experience with Amazon Web Services and/or Microsoft Azure.
• Three (3)+ years' experience deploying security strategies and implementations within an AWS ecosystem.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS architectural solutions within AWS.
• Experience in designing enterprise APIs and working in Linux operating systems.
• Knowledge of traditional security controls (SOC2) and technologies such as SIEM systems.
• Familiarity with near real-time data collection, GIS systems, Git, NuGet, and Coverity code scanner software.
