About the position

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) at Redline Resources, LLC is responsible for supporting the continuous improvement of new model launches and ensuring effective communication and coordination between suppliers and the plant. This role involves managing various aspects of supply chain operations, including monitoring shipments, maintaining inventory levels, and facilitating engineering changes. The CSR serves as the main point of contact for suppliers and plays a crucial role in ensuring on-time delivery and production continuity.

Responsibilities

  • Support continuous improvement of new model launches.
  • Review BOMs, purchase part POs, customer releases, complexity charts, etc.
  • Lead MP&L support for engineering changes; act as the point of contact for the plant to review changes with program management, purchasing, supplier development, quality, and engineering.
  • Champion MP&L requirements in all new product and change control meetings to ensure activities are understood and completed on schedule.
  • Follow up on purchased parts to ensure shipment and on-time delivery performance to support production requirements and optimize inventory.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all suppliers; provide direction regarding shipping schedules and resolve any delays.
  • Monitor truck schedules by determining trucking requirements and adjusting as necessary to support schedule variations.
  • Track shipments from suppliers to ensure deadlines are met and production is uninterrupted.
  • Maintain target inventory levels through truck scheduling, MRP parameters, and supplier accountability.
  • Monitor EDI and maintain cumulative ship quantities for data accuracy.
  • Perform daily parts control functions, including track and trace, production schedule analysis, and exception management to meet inventory turns target KPIs.
  • Access supplier portals for bulletins, program timing, release information, and cascade to necessary contacts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making ability.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks.
  • Sound understanding of MRP functional flows and requirement generation.
  • Computer experience required, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).
