The CSWS St. Johns Boosters Social Media & Events Assistant position is a Community Service Work Study student employment opportunity at the University of Portland. In this position, the assistant will be responsible for managing the social media presence of the St. Johns Boosters, specifically focusing on their Instagram and Facebook pages. The goal is to increase engagement and create a more dynamic online profile that highlights local businesses. The assistant will create social media content, including reels that showcase local businesses, helping to promote their services and products. Additionally, the assistant will play a key role in the preparation and execution of various events organized by the St. Johns Boosters, such as the “Spring Fling” and Ugly Sweater Events. This role requires a blend of creativity, organizational skills, and a passion for community engagement.
