About the position

The CT Clinical Operations Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the CT Department, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery while maintaining high-quality patient care. This role involves collaboration with administrative and physician leadership, development of educational programs for staff, and providing supervision and direction to the CT team. The Coordinator is focused on enhancing the patient experience and works closely with various departments to achieve operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties of the CT Technologist.
• Assist with the day-to-day operation of the CT Department.
• Work closely with Administrative and Physician leadership to maintain efficient operations.
• Ensure quality and promote change within the department.
• Develop and maintain educational programs for CT staff.
• Provide supervision and direction to the CT staff.
• Interact and collaborate with other departments.
• Focus on providing an excellent patient experience.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered as a Radiographer by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Advanced certification in CT.
• Maintain Continuing Education credits (24 CEU in two years).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Five years of CT experience preferred.
• Good working knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
• Proficient in venipuncture.
• Knowledge of methods to set up and operate CT equipment with an emphasis on ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable).
• Excellent communication skills and customer service skills.
