You will also be responsible for ensuring that all exams are properly coded and tracked through the Radiology Information System (RIS), and that all charges are accurately entered for the exams performed. The position demands a strong ability to communicate effectively with patients, providing clear instructions and explanations to alleviate any fears and encourage cooperation during procedures. In addition to technical skills, the role requires a compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating dignity and respect while interacting with both patients and co-workers. You will be expected to identify patients correctly using two identifiers, review patient history, and assess physician orders to apply specific departmental protocols for optimal imaging results.
