About the position

The CT Support Technician at MXR is responsible for assisting with the maintenance, inspection, and preparation of CT systems for delivery. This role involves hands-on work with CT equipment, ensuring that all systems are properly documented, cleaned, and packaged. The technician will also support the company's mission by providing technical and logistical assistance across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inspection, washing, packaging and documenting CT system components
• Assist in magnet maintenance
• Assist with general cleaning of equipment refurbishment areas
• Assist with inventory of CT systems prior to shipment
• Prepare CT systems for shipment, including proper packaging and labeling
• Assist with the maintenance of the chillers and other necessary items
• Assist with mechanical and electrical portions of CT systems staging
• Support company-wide initiatives, including Quality Management System maintenance

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Some college desired (preferred)
• CT equipment experience (will train)
• Valid, active driver's license with a solid driving record for a minimum of five years
• Reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance
• Willingness to undertake after-hours travel to carrier offices, drop-boxes, and airports
• High mechanical aptitude and experience with using various tools properly
• Proficient in basic MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Team player with a positive, professional attitude
• Ability to work well with individuals at all levels of the organization
• Willingness to be on-call after hours for shipment preparation or delivery
