About the position

The CT Support Technician role at MXR Imaging, Inc. involves assisting with the maintenance, inspection, and preparation of CT systems for delivery. This position supports the company's mission by ensuring that all CT equipment is properly documented, cleaned, and packaged, while also providing technical and logistical support across the organization. The technician will work closely with various teams to ensure high-quality service and support for medical imaging equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inspection, washing, packaging and documenting CT system components
• Assist in magnet maintenance
• Assist with general cleaning of equipment refurbishment areas
• Assist with inventory of CT systems prior to shipment
• Help prepare CT systems for shipment, including proper packaging and labeling
• Assist with the maintenance of the chillers and other necessary items
• Assist with mechanical and electrical portions of CT systems staging
• Support company-wide initiatives, including Quality Management System maintenance

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Some college desired
• CT equipment experience preferred but will train
• Must have a valid, active driver's license and solid driving record for a minimum of five years
• Must have reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance
• Willing and able to undertake after-hours travel to carrier offices, drop-boxes, and airports
• High mechanical aptitude and experience with using various tools properly
• Proficient in basic MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Excellent verbal and written English language and communication skills
• Team player; willing to go above and beyond to help others
• Analytical, able to reason and evaluate information and make correct decisions
• Positive, professional attitude; ability to stay calm in stressful situations
