About the position

The CT Technologist position involves working in an acute care setting to perform computed tomography scans and ensure patient safety and comfort. The role requires a skilled professional who can effectively communicate with patients and coordinate with physicians to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain patient history, explain routine procedures, and address patient concerns.
  • Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly for imaging.
  • Perform computed tomography scans using designated equipment.

Requirements

  • Completion of a two-year program at an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Licensed by the California Radiologic Health Branch - Certificate and Fluoroscopy Certificate.
  • Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
  • Ability to perform IV punctures and skilled with Computed Tomography Equipment.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • 2 years of CT experience required within the last 5 years.
