About the position
The CT Technologist at Jefferson Health plays a crucial role in improving lives by performing clinical diagnostic examinations and operating CT equipment to produce images for diagnostic and interventional procedures. This part-time position requires effective communication with patients and accurate data entry into the Radiology Information System, all under the guidance of a Radiologist.
Responsibilities
- Explains radiographic procedure to the patient and collects accurate patient history.
- Performs clinical diagnostic examinations including any necessary room preparation.
- Properly enters patient and exam data into the Radiology Information System.
- Operates CT equipment to produce CT images of the body for diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Requirements
- 1-3 months experience and/or training required.
- Satisfactory formal training in an approved program.
- ARRT certification required.
