Responsibilities

  • Perform computed tomography scans on patients as per physician orders.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
  • Maintain and operate CT equipment according to safety standards.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to provide accurate diagnostic images.
  • Document patient information and imaging results accurately in the medical records.
  • Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures regarding patient care and imaging protocols.

Requirements

  • Valid CT Technologist certification and state licensure.
  • Experience in performing CT scans in a clinical setting.
  • Strong knowledge of imaging protocols and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare staff.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with advanced imaging techniques and equipment.
  • BLS certification for healthcare providers.
