About the position

Responsibilities
- Perform procedures using diagnostic imaging equipment for radiographic imaging under the direction of a physician.
- Provide health care services using radiographic and computed axial tomography.
- Exercise professional judgment in the performance of services and maintain a demeanor complementary to medical ethics.
- Participate in on-call duty as needed.
- Assess patients and explain procedures, ensuring informed consent is obtained.
- Select proper equipment and set correct technical factors for procedures.
- Obtain and record clear and complete patient history to assist in image interpretation.
- Perform quality assessments of obtained images and evaluate equipment issues.
- Ensure all equipment is in working order and perform quality tests as required.
- Participate in quality improvement projects and understand accreditation processes.
Requirements
- Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program.
- Currently registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
- License to practice radiology in NE.
- Must be ARRT CT certified within 2 years of hire.
