About the position

The position involves performing radiographic procedures at a technical level, requiring independent judgment and initiative to provide prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis. The role is essential in supporting the mission of Mercy by delivering compassionate care and exceptional service. The position reports to the Cat Scan Manager and includes responsibilities for designated areas or procedures as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures at a technical level without constant supervision.
• Utilize independent judgment and ingenuity to supply prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnosis.
• Assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training.
• Experience and capability deemed adequate for the position.
• A.R.R.T. registered or registry eligible upon hire, with A.R.R.T. achieved within six months of employment.
• Demonstrate respect for others and maintain confidentiality.

Nice-to-haves

• ARRT Advanced Level certification in CT Scan or working towards certification.
