About the position

The CT Technologist position in Winchester, MA, is a contract role requiring a dedicated professional to work night shifts from Thursday to Saturday, 7 PM to 7 AM. This position guarantees 36 hours of work per week over a 13-week contract period. The role involves performing CT scans in a high-volume trauma setting, necessitating proficiency and experience in handling trauma cases. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during procedures, maintaining high standards of care, and adhering to all safety protocols and regulations. The CT Technologist will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to provide accurate imaging services and support the overall patient care process. Additionally, the role requires compliance with specific health regulations, including COVID-19 vaccinations and flu vaccinations, to ensure the safety of both staff and patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans in a high-volume trauma setting.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.

Requirements

• Graduate of a two-year AMA-accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• Proficient in scanning in a high-volume trauma setting.
• Registered by the ARRT and licensed by the State of MA.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Tech is required.
• Previous experience in trauma is preferred.
