About the position
The CT Technologist will utilize computerized tomography to capture medical images for diagnostic purposes in various healthcare settings. This role involves preparing patients for scans, operating CT equipment, processing images, and managing patient records, while also potentially using other imaging modalities such as X-ray and MRI.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for CT scans and explain the procedure to them.
- Operate CT equipment to capture high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Process and analyze images for review by radiologists and physicians.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent experience as a CT technologist.
- ARRT Certification.
- BLS Certification (AHA).
- Current state license (if applicable).
