About the position

The CTC Support Associate role at Commerce Bank is designed to provide administrative and account support to various lines of business within the CTC. This position focuses on delivering superior service to clients, assisting Private Client Advisors (PCA's) with account management, and resolving operational issues. The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a professional presence.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support in the opening, administration, and closing of fiduciary, agency, and custodial accounts.
• Deliver superior service to clients and their external professionals.
• Resolve operational issues by collaborating with internal partners.
• Assist PCA's in handling cash receipts and disbursements for accounts.
• Prepare new account paperwork and coordinate the opening process with internal partners.
• Access and update information on the trust accounting platform.
• Input and maintain customer information in the client relationship management system.
• Coordinate account termination processes, including necessary notices and asset transfers.
• Address customer phone and email inquiries.
• Prepare documents for administrative, investment, and vault files.
• Prepare various administrative presentations, reports, memos, and letters as requested.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• 4+ years related experience in an office environment required.
• 2+ years work experience in a financial institution highly preferred.
• Basic knowledge of wealth management services and products.
• Demonstrated superior customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Knowledge of trust and retail services preferred.
