Responsibilities

  • Oversee the financial management of several sites, ensuring that financial practices are aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Participate in financial planning and budgeting for each site, ensuring that budgets are realistic and aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Provide detailed financial analysis to help local teams understand their plant's performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement measures to control and reduce costs, while ensuring operational efficiency and profitability in collaboration with local teams.
  • Supervise and train plant controllers, ensuring compliance with accounting and financial standards.
  • Maintain regular communication with local management teams and stakeholders to ensure that financial decisions are fully understood and implemented.
  • Ensure that all financial operations comply with regulations.

Requirements

  • 10 years' cumulative experience relevant to the position and area of expertise.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent; Master's degree preferred.
  • Willingness to travel (between 50% and 75% of the time) and legal authorization to travel to multiple sites.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with financial management software and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.
  • Ability to lead in a matrix approach and motivate geographically dispersed teams.
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and identify solutions to financial problems.
  • Ability to adapt to different working environments and manage multiple sites with unique challenges.
