About the position

We have an exciting opportunity for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join an international crypto company that is entering the U.S. market. This role is pivotal as it involves building and managing a team of U.S.-based Front-End and Back-End Engineers. The ideal candidate will be a technology leader with a strong background in Blockchain, Crypto, Web 3.0, or NFT-related industries. Fluency in the Mandarin language is a requirement for this position, as it will involve coordination with technology teams overseas. The CTO will be responsible for leading the development of the company's product platform and ensuring that the code produced is of enterprise quality and horizontally scalable, adhering to best practices. This position will initially be hybrid for the first month, transitioning to 100% onsite thereafter. The CTO will also play a crucial role in maintaining a team-oriented environment, fostering collaboration and innovation among team members. In addition to technical leadership, the CTO will be expected to lead fundraising efforts to secure investments that will support the company's growth. This role requires excellent communication skills and a strong desire to help grow the business, making it essential for the CTO to effectively convey the company's vision and strategy to both internal teams and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train and manage a team of Front-End and Back-End Engineers.
• Coordinate with technology team overseas.
• Lead Software Engineers across the full software development lifecycle.
• Lead development of the company's product platform.
• Ensure enterprise-quality, horizontally scalable code using best practices.
• Maintain a team-oriented environment.

Requirements

• Knowledge of many of the following technologies: PHP Laravel Framework, MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS, Node.js, Git, Ajax, Angular, Vue, React, Svelte, and JSON.
• Fluency in the Mandarin language is a must.
• Experience with Blockchain, Crypto Web 3.0 or NFT related industries is a must.
• Experience leading fundraising efforts to secure investments to support the company's growth.
• Experience with Agile development under the SCRUM methodology.
• Experience hiring, training and managing front-end and back-end software engineers.
• Strong desire to help grow the company's business.
• Excellent communication skills.
