In this position, the CTO will develop and implement a technology strategy that aligns with the company's business goals and objectives. They will drive technological innovation and ensure the company remains at the forefront of industry trends. The CTO will lead, mentor, and manage the technology team, including software developers, engineers, and IT professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the technology department. The CTO will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of technology-based products and services, ensuring product quality, performance, and reliability through effective project management and development practices. Additionally, they will manage the company's technological infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability, implementing and maintaining robust cybersecurity measures to protect the company's data and systems. Budgeting and resource allocation will also be a key responsibility, as the CTO will develop and manage the technology budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to meet strategic goals and identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements within the technology function. Collaboration with other executives and departments will be essential to align technology initiatives with business objectives, and the CTO will communicate technology strategy and progress to the executive team, board of directors, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's or MBA preferred).
  • Proven experience as a CTO, CIO, VP of Engineering, or a similar senior technology leadership role.
  • Extensive experience in software development, systems architecture, and IT management.
  • Strong understanding of current and emerging technologies and how they can be applied to drive business success.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic technology plans.
  • Experience with budgeting, resource allocation, and project management.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
