About the position

Vitable Inc is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the technology strategic planning and oversee software engineering teams in their Philadelphia, PA office. The role involves directing the integration of AI and machine learning into healthcare applications, ensuring the development of innovative solutions that comply with healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities

• Direct technology strategic planning for the organization.
• Supervise software engineers and manage the software development lifecycle.
• Lead the integration of AI and machine learning into healthcare applications.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare data security regulations, including HIPAA and SOC 2.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Software Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of full-time work experience as a Software Engineer, CTO, or in a related role.
• At least 2 years of experience with Vue.js, Python, Typescript, Dart, Flutter, AWS EC2, RDS, AWS Lambda, Metabase, and Mixpanel.
• Experience in software system design and architecture using Django.
• Knowledge of healthcare data security regulations, including HIPAA and SOC 2.

• Academic background in Natural Language Processing (NLP), predictive modeling, and deep learning.
