About the position

The Culinary Lead at CAVA is responsible for leading and developing kitchen teams, ensuring food quality and safety standards, and delivering exceptional meals. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coach team members effectively. The Culinary Lead plays a crucial role in the restaurant's success by fostering a positive work environment and maintaining high operational standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the grill and prep teams and Special Ops trainers.
  • Be responsible for opening or closing the restaurant.
  • Learn basic food and beverage management, including ordering and inventory organization.
  • Develop new leadership skills to lead the team.
  • Assist with any additional duties assigned.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of coaching and developing team members.
  • Ability to cross train across the restaurant to ensure rapid growth.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
