About the position

The Door Guard position at Curacao Anaheim is responsible for ensuring security and preventing theft at store entrances. This role involves enforcing company policies, providing customer service, and reporting suspicious activities to Loss Prevention management. The Door Guard will physically stand at designated entrances, assist store management during emergencies, and help with opening and closing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service while verifying customer and employee supply receipts at the door.
• Enforce entrance and exit policies.
• Report suspicious activity to Loss Prevention management.
• Assist store management during opening and closing procedures.
• Assist store management during emergency situations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a guard card.
• Minimum 6 months of security experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and equipment weighing up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to walk, stand, stoop, crawl, kneel, climb, and push/pull objects.
• Knowledge of the Power of Arrest and detainment required.
• Valid government issued ID for police reports and court purposes.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Word).
• Ability to speak in public.
• Teamwork oriented.
• Dynamic and enthusiastic personality.
• Open to learning and accepting changes in a fast-paced environment.
