About the position
As a Curbside Personal Shopper at Giant Eagle, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional one-to-one service to our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to provide unparalleled service with a smile, ensuring that every interaction helps to brighten our guests' day and build greater customer loyalty. You will be a key player on our Curbside Team, supporting your fellow Team Members and contributing to a positive work environment. Your drive to grow your career and inspire those around you will be essential in this role. In this position, you will be expected to display a passion for shopping for others, treating each order as if you are shopping for someone you love. You will need to maintain safety as the top priority in all aspects of your work, ensuring the well-being of your Team Members, guests, and the products you handle. Accurately selecting, bagging, and staging grocery orders for guests will be a significant part of your daily tasks. You will also provide outstanding guest service, constantly striving to delight and surprise our guests, vendors, and stakeholders. Additionally, you will assist with the collection, loading, and acceptance of payment for customer pickup and delivery orders. Providing assistance to online grocery customers via phone and in-person will also be part of your responsibilities. You will inspire your fellow Team Members and guests with your willingness to go the 'Extra Mile' to provide the best service possible. Proficiency in technology, including the Internet and mobile phone apps, will be necessary to perform your job efficiently. Demonstrating a sense of urgency while performing job tasks will be crucial to meet the needs of our guests and ensure a smooth shopping experience.

Requirements
- 0 to 6 months of experience required.
- Working towards a high school diploma is desired; no high school diploma required.
- Retail or grocery experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
