About the position
The Curriculum Consultant will collaborate with new and existing franchisees to prepare instructors for opening through in-water training. This role involves observing and assisting during school openings, sharing best practices for lesson quality, and developing curriculum training materials to enhance lesson quality and customer communication. The ideal candidate should have a swimming background and a passion for water safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform in-water training at schools and support schools during KIP/Opening Visits.
- Observe classes and conduct in-water curriculum checklists.
- Provide feedback and training support to instructors.
- Monitor swim lesson quality and performance through department KPIs.
- Help identify necessary curriculum refinements.
- Stay current with the latest research related to swimming curriculum and instruction.
- Develop and follow measurement systems to ensure accountability related to teaching outcomes.
- Conduct monthly calls with assigned schools to discuss lesson quality challenges and potential solutions.
- Contribute potential improvements in curriculum quality and teachability.
- Work collaboratively with the curriculum team to determine possible changes that meet the needs of students and instructors.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications.
- Support Science of Swim Play methodology.
- Work seamlessly with other departments to incorporate company values in learning and development materials.
