About the position

The Curriculum Implementation and Management Specialist at Johns Hopkins University is responsible for leading the development, evaluation, and dissemination of curricula aimed at preventing problematic sexual behaviors and child sexual abuse. This role involves training development, curriculum oversight, research project management, and stakeholder recruitment, contributing to transformative public health initiatives in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation of training programs for educators and program facilitators, including establishing a 'train the trainer' model.
  • Manage the implementation of curricula for multiple projects, including development of timelines and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the curriculum development team to manualize curricula and modify curriculum activities based on research outcomes.
  • Assist with the development of content and tools for curricula, managing projects to maintain and update them.
  • Lead implementation-related research protocols for multiple studies, including data collection and focus group facilitation.
  • Serve as a liaison between implementation sites and project team members, facilitating meetings and trainings.
  • Oversee administrative tasks for research projects, including contracts and project timelines.
  • Develop recruitment protocols and oversee recruitment efforts for diverse populations.
  • Plan and execute Moore events, including an annual conference, and provide administrative support for projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline; Master's preferred.
  • Five years of related experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Word).
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's Degree in Education, Public Health, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience teaching health education in a public-school setting preferred.
  • Experience in coaching educators or facilitating professional development sessions is preferred.
