About the position

The Custodial and Maintenance Inspection Assistant at Oklahoma City Community College is responsible for performing various tasks related to the inspection and maintenance of college facilities. This entry-level position works closely with the Building and Campus Services Manager to ensure that custodial services and maintenance tasks are completed in a timely manner. The role is designed for current OCCC students, providing them with practical work experience while they pursue their studies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the inspection of college facilities to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
• Work with the Building and Campus Services Manager to complete custodial service tasks.
• Communicate effectively with Facilities Management staff to perform essential functions of the position.
• Operate equipment and perform physical tasks as required for maintenance inspections.

Requirements

• Current OCCC student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours for the Fall or Spring semester or 3 credit hours for the Summer semester.
• Current OCCC student with a Federal Work Study award.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
