About the position

The Custodial Tech I position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across all main campus facilities at Kimray. This role involves various cleaning tasks, ensuring that all areas, including offices, restrooms, and fitness areas, are kept in sanitary condition. The position requires adherence to safety policies and participation in team efforts to achieve departmental goals.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the cleanliness of all office, restrooms, meeting, and fitness areas.
• Performs mopping, waxing, scrubbing, sweeping, and vacuuming of flooring.
• Stocks and supplies all necessary supplies and consumables required to maintain sanitary conditions.
• Carries out other tasks designated by Custodial Supervisor and Lead Person.
• Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
• Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or a Health Safety and Environmental team member.
• Participates in proactive teams to achieve departmental and company goals.
• Provides leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 0-2 years previous experience preferred.
• Ability to use a pallet jack and hand truck.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Must have valid driver's license and clean MVR.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.
