About the position
The Custodial Worker II position at ESBOCES is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in the facilities of the Office of Operations and Maintenance at the Edward J. Milliken Technical Center. This role is essential for ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for staff and students, working primarily during evening hours.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas including classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and offices.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of facilities for events and meetings.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

- Eligible to be appointed by Civil Service.

Benefits
- Salary of $48,829 plus a 10% night differential.
- Salaries will increase in accordance with the recently ratified agreement with UPSEU on December 20, 2024, retroactive to July 1, 2024.
