About The Position

The Custodian / Maintenance position at Premier Subaru of Fremont is a full-time role focused on maintaining a clean and orderly environment for both customers and staff. Requirements

• Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal
• 2 years of experience in Event Utility/Cleanup Crew
• Practice and knowledge of safe work practices
• Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
• Proven initiative-taker capable of finding solutions with minimal supervision
• Ability to lift and maneuver a minimum of 55 lbs
• Ability to bend, twist, squat, and climb stairwells

Responsibilities

• Keeping building and property in clean and orderly condition
• Performing all basic janitorial duties at work sites
• Scrubbing, sanitizing, and supplying restroom facilities
• Gathering and emptying trash bins
• Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming floors
• Dusting furniture, walls, and equipment
• Cleaning windows, mirrors, and partitions with soap and other cleansers
• Mixing cleaning solutions and chemicals in preparation for cleaning, according to instructions
• Following procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power machinery to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
• Cleaning and polishing fixtures and furniture
• Ensuring that all OSHA standards are being met, and that Material Safety Data Sheets are properly displayed and maintained at all sites
• Wearing proper janitorial uniform and serving as a model of professional standards
• Notifying manager of the need for repairs or additions to building operating systems
• Assisting with event set up and break down as assigned
