About the position
The Custodian position at Fiber Glass Systems, a business under NOV, is essential for maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This full-time role operates on a day shift schedule from Monday to Friday, focusing on various cleaning tasks and compliance with safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Clean water coolers, refrigerators, and microwaves in breakrooms
- Clean restrooms, deodorize, and replenish toiletries
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and remove trash and debris from assigned areas
- Mix and maintain Gatorade coolers during warm months
- Maintain and organize inventory of cleaning supplies
- Complete all daily assignments in a timely and efficient manner
- Report unsafe conditions to the appropriate Supervisor
- Wear appropriate PPE when in required areas
- Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures
- Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures
- Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 1-2 years custodial or janitorial experience
- Three years of verifiable work experience preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment including vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping
- Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties as required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
