Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and custodial duties for assigned parks and buildings, including entry, offices, restrooms, kitchens, hallways, and all work areas.
• Maintain the outside appearance of grounds for assigned buildings, including blowing, sweeping, and picking up trash.
• Remove snow and ice from steps and walkways.
• Dust and clean desks and other furniture.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, strip, wax, and buff floor surfaces.
• Clean and replenish restroom areas.
• Clean windows, walls, woodwork, and blinds.
• Empty trash receptacles and deposit recyclable materials in proper receptacles.

Requirements

• Valid Nevada Driver's License.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• One year of education and/or experience in housekeeping and/or custodial work directly related to the job.
• Ability to work a variable work schedule.
• Negative drug screen and background check.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of standard methods, materials, and equipment used in janitorial work.
• Ability to carry out written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a crew.
