About the position

LB&B Associates Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Custodian in St. Albans, VT (Federal Building). The position offers a day shift with an hourly pay rate of $19.57 per hour. Additionally, there is a Health & Welfare Pay of $7.75 per hour (up to 40 hours per week). Effective 2/1/2025, the hourly pay rate will increase to $20.16 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Perform general office cleaning including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and removing trash/recycling from office areas.
• Clean and sanitize office space, breakrooms, and restrooms.
• Conduct hard surface floor care including carpet cleaning, shampoo/extraction, vinyl/tiling treatment.
• Use high-speed floor equipment and floor scrubbers.
• Work with all-purpose floor cleaning products.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in general commercial or government building cleaning including sanitizing.
• Experience in hard surface floor care.
• Ability to operate high-speed floor equipment and floor scrubbers.
