The Custody Operations Analyst in Trade Services is responsible for the management and oversight of Wealth Management & Investment Services (WMIS) client accounts and products of various types and sizes established by clients for various purposes. This role provides technical, industry, process, and troubleshooting support for products or accounts to a team of operation specialists within their own unit/discipline. The primary focus is on day-to-day deliverables, developing solutions based upon subject expertise, and occasionally representing the department at a broader level. The analyst may also contribute to strategic planning within their area of expertise. Accountability for the completion of daily processing activities is crucial, as is delivering a high level of customer service. The analyst is responsible for identifying and minimizing risk in the control environment, ensuring process efficiency, and effectively resolving customer issues. Responsibilities have various levels of risk correlating to the type and size of account or product. The role may require providing supervisory responsibilities and applying independent judgment and decision-making based on area of expertise. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm local time, with an in-office expectation of three days a week (Tuesday to Thursday) and the flexibility to work remotely for the other two days.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee Wealth Management & Investment Services (WMIS) client accounts and products.

  • Focus on day-to-day deliverables and develop solutions based on subject expertise.
  • Represent the department at a broader level when necessary.
  • Contribute to strategic planning within the area of expertise.
  • Complete daily processing activities and deliver high levels of customer service.
  • Identify and minimize risk in the control environment and ensure process efficiency.
  • Resolve customer issues effectively and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, or an Associate's degree with four or more years of relevant experience.
  • Basic understanding of regulatory and accounting principles affecting Wealth Management & Investment Services business lines and clients.
  • Ability to multitask and meet established deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
  • Effective customer relations, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications.
