About the position

The Custody Operations Specialist will join the US & Non-U.S. Manual Trade Entry team within Custody Operations at U.S. Bank. This role involves operational support and processing of client accounts, with responsibilities that include setting up securities and maintaining accounts. The position requires effective coordination and management of multiple tasks while adhering to established service level agreements and compliance with department policies.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the operational support and processing of client accounts.
  • Accountable for setting up securities, general account and asset level maintenance with some level of supervision.
  • Manage various levels of risk correlating to the type and size of account or product.
  • Effectively coordinate, manage, and complete multiple duties and assignments within acceptable timelines.
  • Understand and achieve established Service Level Agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with established department policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree, or equivalent work experience.
  • Two or more years of relevant experience.
  • Basic understanding of regulatory and accounting principles affecting Wealth Management & Investment Services.
  • Ability to quickly learn custody operational functions, systems, procedures, and various products/services.
  • Ability to multitask and meet established deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
  • Effective customer relations, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient computer navigation skills using Microsoft Office applications.
