About the position

As a team member at Michaels, you will build customer relationships while creating memorable framing solutions for their art. Your role will involve helping customers shop our store and find what they're looking for, all while providing a safe, clean, and clutter-free environment. You will be responsible for adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and executing company policies to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements. You will embrace and execute personal design by using Elevated ABC Deliver to build relationships with customers while delivering sales and production results. Completing framing orders with a high degree of quality and on time is essential, as is maintaining the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas. You will deliver friendly customer service, assist with omni-channel processes, and support shrink and safety programs.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
  • Embrace and execute personal designer by using Elevated ABC Deliver to build relationships with all customers while creating Custom Framing solutions.
  • Deliver sales and production results.
  • Complete framing orders with a high degree of quality and on time.
  • Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas including SISO and Directed Replenishment.
  • Deliver friendly customer service; help customers shop and find what they are looking for; provide a well merchandised and in-stock store for the customer to shop.
  • Support shrink and safety programs.
  • Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner; remain positive and respectful, even in difficult situations; promote commitment to the organization's vision and values.
  • Participate in the truck unload and stocking processes to ensure truck standards are followed and completed within budget.
  • Operate cash register and execute cash handling to standards.
  • Acknowledge customers, help locate product and provide solutions.
  • Assist with Omni channel processes.

Requirements

  • Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
  • Ability to operate the framing equipment and glass cutter.
