Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on various metal components.
- Read and interpret blueprints and engineering diagrams.
- Lay out, cut, fit, measure, and weld metals to create desired shapes or objects.
- Inspect and test welds and equipment for durability and compliance with specified standards.
- Examine equipment to determine if repairs or new equipment are needed.
Requirements
- Experience in MIG and TIG welding.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering diagrams.
- Strong skills in metal fabrication including layout, cutting, fitting, measuring, and welding.
- Attention to detail for inspecting and testing welds and equipment.
