About the position

The Customer Account Executive - Military role at Parker Hannifin Corporation involves managing assigned accounts, including OEMs, distributors, airlines, and MRO providers. The position focuses on generating demand for Meggitt products and achieving key sales goals within the After-Market channel. The executive acts as the primary point of contact for customers, collaborating closely with outside sales and Meggitt sites to grow both new and existing business.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and execute effective After-Market sales strategies based on market trends and customer needs.
  • Manage customer accounts and After-Market Sales/Commercial Spares at respective Meggitt sites.
  • Support internal and external customers throughout the sales cycle, managing relationships, quoting, and tracking performance.
  • Review and negotiate Sales Agreements and Contracts.
  • Capture and analyze data in the CRM system, create sales reports, and track trends and progress.
  • Participate in the development of a full-scope Americas Inside Sales Team.
  • Travel for industry conferences, sales meetings, and customer visits as required.
  • Coordinate closely with Customer Service and Trade Compliance to meet customer requirements.
  • Assist management as needed and participate in process documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Inside Sales, Customer Service, Aerospace/Aviation After-Market Sales, or a combination thereof.
  • Excellent sales, communication, organizational, time-management, and analytical skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to problem-solve quickly with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team across the Americas.
  • Strong computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Quantum, SAP, and CRM.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of contractual regulation, negotiation, logistics, Export & Trade Compliance.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, results-oriented manufacturing environment.
