About the position

The Customer Account Manager for Repair Services is responsible for managing customer orders and relationships, ensuring timely order fulfillment, and resolving any issues that arise during the sales order process. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work cross-functionally to drive process improvements and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Review and enter customer orders with high-level complexity/volume requiring significant decision-making capabilities.
  • Work cross-functionally to resolve problems.
  • Participate on teams to drive process improvement.
  • Maintain customer relationships to generate repeat business opportunities.
  • Prepare responses for requests for proposals and BID materials.
  • Coordinate sales orders and related activities to sales order flow process.
  • Analyze reports from ERP to identify potential issues in executing orders on time.
  • Coordinate all purchase activity and work with Buyer to facilitate expediting procedures.
  • Investigate, coordinate, and resolve customer problems with deliveries and discrepancies with purchase orders.
  • Coordinate payment transactions from customers.
  • Coordinate export compliance requirements for international shipments.
  • Coordinate with internal departments until order fulfillment is achieved.
  • Train other team members in all aspects of the ERP system as related to performing all of the above requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college desirable.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Fluent in English; foreign language skills desirable.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers.
  • Proficient in mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with AS9120 and ISO9001 Standards.
