About the position
The position involves handling incoming phone calls related to multiple insurance products, assisting insureds and agents with payment processing and resolving billing issues. The role requires effective communication and the ability to manage a high volume of calls while providing support to the Customer Accounting Specialists and Direct Billing Collections team.
Responsibilities
- Handle incoming calls related to insurance products.
- Monitor the premium accounting inbox and respond to emails as needed.
- Process return mail and research to determine correct addresses.
- Assist Customer Accounting Specialists with payment posting and other tasks.
- Perform copying, scanning, and mail runs as required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education and experience.
- 0+ years of related experience.
- Ability to handle a high volume of incoming calls.
- Ability to research billing and collection issues and recommend actions.
- Effective communication skills with internal and external contacts.

- Experience in customer service or billing roles.
- Familiarity with insurance products and processes.
