About the position

The Customer Analyst position at Shurtape is designed to provide analytical support and insights to the Category Management and Sales Teams. The role focuses on data-driven decision-making, utilizing various internal and external data sources to identify trends and opportunities for business growth. The analyst will communicate actionable solutions and collaborate with multiple departments to align strategies and initiatives effectively.

Responsibilities

• Analyze multiple fragmented internal and external data sources to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for business growth.
• Provide detailed reports and presentations to support multiple teams' decision-making processes.
• Utilize multiple syndicated data sources to enhance data analysis and reporting capabilities.
• Collaborate with the Category Management Team to develop and implement category strategies, including market analysis and performance tracking.
• Work with the sales team to provide data-driven insights that support sales initiatives and strategies.
• Engage with various departments, including Marketing, IT, and Customer Service, to ensure alignment and support for category and sales initiatives.
• Gather and analyze available sources to understand customer needs and preferences, shaping strategies based on insights.
• Manage and execute projects related to category management and sales support, ensuring timely delivery and effective communication.
• Conduct competitive analysis to identify best practices and trends within the industry.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferably in business, operations management, or related quantitative fields.
• 0-1+ years' experience in either retail or consumer product manufacturer environment is preferred.
• Ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
