About the position

As a Data Scientist Lead in the Customer Analytics Team at Chase, you will play a crucial role in understanding customer behaviors and driving business growth. This position involves synthesizing analytical findings, executing customer-centric projects, and developing insights that inform strategic decisions for various business segments.

Responsibilities

• Synthesize analytical findings for senior business executives in written and verbal formats and influence decisions that impact Chase customers
• Plan, execute, and deliver customer-centric analytical projects, including strategic analyses for marketing, servicing, and personalization
• Work hands-on with various data assets (via SQL) to answer business questions and describe customer archetypes
• Become a trusted partner and thought leader on customer data and analytics techniques
• Develop a strong team environment with junior team members, built on respect and cooperation
• Define metrics, evaluate results, and draw conclusions based on data

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in data and analytics or related consulting in consumer financial services
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, analytical, or related field
• Strong SQL knowledge, including complex queries and stored procedures
• Expertise in Excel, PowerPoint, and Project Management
• Familiarity with cloud-based environments and developing production-level code
• Experience with relational databases and query optimization
• Ability to develop advanced data visualization and presentations

Nice-to-haves

• Advanced analytics experience with knowledge in tools like Alteryx, Python, Snowflake, Tableau
• Functional industry experience in banking, finance, marketing, credit/risk, technology
• Master's degree in a related field
