About the position

The Customer Care Account Representative at ABB is responsible for managing order-related transactions and ensuring a high level of customer service within the Motion System Drives Division. This role involves effective communication with customers, problem resolution, and collaboration with internal teams to enhance the customer experience. The representative will handle the Order to Cash process and utilize ERP systems to manage sales orders, project orders, and other related tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Manage order management related transactions with high accuracy, including sales orders, project orders, debit/credit memos, payment disputes, and delivery schedules using SAP and SalesForce.
  • Improve existing customer relationships by understanding client requirements and expectations, delivering world-class customer care and order management.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries, especially critical issues, demonstrating urgency to serve the customer effectively.
  • Build collaborative relationships across functions to enhance customer service.
  • Explore and utilize creative solutions to day-to-day and event-based problems, creating and analyzing reports to support customers and processes.

Requirements

  • 2 years of relevant work experience in Customer Service and an Associate's degree, or high school diploma/GED and 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency with an ERP system, preferably SAP.
  • Candidates must have work authorization to work for ABB in the US.
