About the position

The Customer Care and Sales Call Center Representative position at AT&T is a full-time remote role focused on providing exceptional customer service and driving sales. As a Premier Service Consultant, you will engage with customers to address their needs, optimize their service experience, and promote AT&T's latest technology and services. This role requires a consultative approach to meet sales goals while ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Responsibilities

  • Provide solutions to prospective and existing customers to enhance their service experience.
  • Handle new service requests and assist customers with voice, internet, and wireless plans.
  • Address existing customer needs including billing, payment, plan changes, upgrades, and technical support.
  • Identify upsell opportunities and recommend appropriate products and services to customers.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment managing high volumes of calls, chats, and emails.
  • Utilize multiple tools and systems to resolve service inquiries and maintain customer records.
  • Simplify explanations of customer bills, rate plans, and product features.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and engage Tier 3 support for complex issues.
  • Participate in paid training and utilize resources to succeed in the role.

Requirements

  • Call center or customer service experience is required.
  • Flexibility to work any schedule during hours of operation, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage high call volumes.
  • Strong communication skills and a consultative approach to customer interactions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with remote access software is a plus.
