About the position

The Service Dispatcher at Ford Audio Video is responsible for efficiently managing incoming service calls, scheduling service technicians, and providing comprehensive administrative support for the Service Center. This role involves coordinating various administrative projects, managing multiple priorities, and ensuring effective communication with customers and service teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming service calls and schedule service technicians accordingly.
  • Perform administrative support activities for the Service Center.
  • Receive and track service calls and manage work orders.
  • Handle customer invoicing and process vendor warranty work orders and invoices.
  • Coordinate administrative projects and manage multiple priorities.

Requirements

  • Prior experience with dispatching, scheduling, and/or customer service.
  • Basic understanding of A/V equipment and systems preferred, or technical aptitude.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong multi-tasking abilities.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Proficient in computer skills including typing, 10-key, Outlook, and Microsoft Office.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Interest in Audio/Visual technology.
