About the position

The Customer Care Representative role at Sutherland Global Services involves delivering exceptional service and solutions to customers through inbound calls and chat. This position is remote and requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively. Representatives will work with leading technologies and systems while being supported by a dedicated team of leaders and peers.

Responsibilities

  • Handle customer calls of varying types including service requests, billing questions, and energy conservation advice effectively and efficiently.
  • Provide exceptional service and solutions to customers through inbound calls and chat.
  • Utilize strong communication and active listening skills to resolve customer issues.
  • Leverage probing questions to understand and address customer needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; an Associate's degree is a plus.
  • Strong communication and active listening skills.
  • Ability to multitask and pay attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office and strong keyboard skills.
  • Excellent Internet connectivity with a hardwired connection.
