About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Data Entry and Customer Account Specialist for a contract-to-hire position. This role involves accurately entering data, setting up new customer accounts, managing existing accounts, and handling incoming customer inquiries. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, a quick learning ability, and a flexible mindset to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate data entry and maintain data integrity across various systems.
• Set up new customer accounts, ensuring all required information is collected and entered correctly.
• Manage and update existing customer accounts, addressing any discrepancies or issues promptly.
• Respond to inbound inquiries (phone, email, chat) from customers, providing information and resolving inquiries in a professional manner.
• Perform outbound calls or emails as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance customer experience.
• Train and learn existing systems and new software as necessary.
• Assist with orders and support for resellers and their customers.
• Assist with any additional administrative tasks as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in relevant fields is a plus.
• Proven experience in data entry or administrative roles, preferably in a customer service environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to learn new systems quickly and adapt to changing processes.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A flexible mindset with a willingness to take on new challenges and tasks as they arise.
