About the position

The Customer Care Specialist I position at Cox Communications is a remote role focused on delivering exceptional customer service in a call center environment. The role requires individuals to troubleshoot customer issues, provide product education, and ensure a positive customer experience. Responsibilities

  • Serve as a real-time troubleshooter for customers, assisting with equipment and service inquiries.
  • Resolve customer issues on the first call to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Provide world-class service by assessing customer needs and suggesting appropriate products and services.
  • Adjust billing and arrange product solutions as necessary.
  • Create authentic connections with customers and act as a product ambassador.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or relevant work experience.
  • 6 months experience providing customer service or selling products and services.
  • Must reside in Phoenix, Tucson, Las Vegas, or a surrounding community within Arizona or Nevada.
  • High-speed internet connection available at home.

Nice-to-haves

  • 6+ months of experience troubleshooting basic hardware, software, and/or connectivity issues.
  • 6+ months of experience in a sales-oriented role.
  • 1-2 years of work experience in a customer service role, not necessarily specific to call centers.
  • Previous telecommunications experience.
