About the position
As a business application consulting generalist at PwC, you will provide consulting services for a wide range of business applications, helping clients optimize operational efficiency through analysis, implementation, training, and support. This role involves leveraging a broad understanding of various software solutions to assist clients in achieving their strategic objectives while growing as a strategic advisor and motivating others to solve complex problems.
Responsibilities
- Provide consulting services for a variety of business applications.
- Analyze client needs and implement software solutions.
- Provide training and support for seamless integration and utilization of business applications.
- Leverage influence and expertise to deliver quality results.
- Motivate and coach team members to solve complex problems.
- Apply sound judgment in decision-making and escalation processes.
- Communicate effectively to convey holistic stories and validate outcomes with clients.
- Direct the team through complexity and demonstrate composure in challenging situations.
- Model and reinforce professional and technical standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in business application consulting.
- Extensive experience in Trade Promotion Management (TPM) and the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
- Experience with SAP BW, SAP IP, and SAP BPS layouts.
- Knowledge of SAP BW powered by HANA and BW4HANA features.
- Experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting SAP systems.
- Experience with SAP Business Objects tools and their development lifecycle.
- Knowledge of SAP (Native) HANA and SAP BW Security concepts.
- Ability to capture and document non-functional requirements and define technical solutions.
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with PriceFx and its integration with SAP ERP.
- Experience with SAP integration with SAP ECC or S/4 modules and SAP BW and SAP CRM.
- Knowledge of SAP CHARM (Change & Release Management) process.
