About the position

The Customer Cyber Security Director (CSD) plays a crucial role in enabling sales of Ericsson's full product and service portfolio by acting as a trusted security advisor to customers. This position focuses on understanding and addressing customer security needs, ensuring compliance with security and privacy standards, and driving project delivery in the cybersecurity domain. The CSD will collaborate with various stakeholders to strengthen Ericsson's security capabilities and support customers in achieving their security goals.

Responsibilities

  • Establish yourself as a trusted security advisor towards customers and internal partners.
  • Provide security advice to Ericsson Customer Units (CU) and other decision-makers.
  • Serve as the key contact between the Customer and Ericsson regarding Security, Privacy, and BCM.
  • Identify, understand, acknowledge, and address the Customer's Security and privacy concerns, ensuring they are reflected in contracts.
  • Build a structure to verify delivery of security commitments as per contracts by collaborating with the security community.
  • Support pre-sales and post-sales activities by assessing customer requirements and advising on appropriate solutions or services.
  • Advise customers on various security domains, including risk assessment, governance, data management, product privacy, and vulnerability assessment.
  • Drive project delivery and gap closure by analyzing customer technology and defining business requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical area; Master's preferred.
  • 8-10 years' experience in cybersecurity.
  • Domain expertise in the telecom industry and/or IoT, with experience in product security and privacy.
  • Understanding of solution security aspects applicable to the telco space, including Open RAN and network slicing.
  • Knowledge of local security-based regulations within the communication space.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks, assurance schemes, and regulations.
  • Strong relationship management skills and ability to coordinate between internal and external cybersecurity teams.
  • Solid communication and presentation skills in written and spoken English.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with ISO 27001 security controls and procedures.
  • Experience in risk analysis and project management in cybersecurity.
